Goebel Clown Figurines ~ Frequently Asked Questions

I have a little Goebel mime or clown 2 piece figurine container.  His head removes and there is a little opening for maybe a condiment spoon(?). He is black & white and has a small Niagara Falls decal on him which could mean maybe he was a souvenir at one time. On the bottom the is the bee in a V and marked Western Germany by W. Goebel. It is also inscribed S199 and dated 1959. Approximately 4" tall and has a glossy finish. Any information and value of this piece is greatly appreciated.

It is difficult to give an estimate on Goebel Figurines because there were so many produced. This small pitcher has a replacement value of $45.00

To see what the current market rate is for your Goebel Clown Figurine I suggest looking on eBay for Goebel Clowns

There is currently a 1959 Clown Jar w/Full Bee-Goebel-W. Germany on eBay for $64.99

The Goeble Factory in Germany produced thousands of different figurines and there was never a book or itemized list of all the figurines. It would be impossible to be able to detemine secondary market activity on general Goebel Figurines. It is best to look on eBay to see what the general public will pay for your item.
