General Questions About Limited-Edition Collectibles
|
Subject: Gnomes Are you familiar with the Tom Clark piece, "Henson"? The character is reading a book to Kermit, the frog, who has an acorn cap for a hat on his head. The book has the following words written in it: "Once upon a time there was a prince named Kermit" They are sitting on leaves and acorns. I believe this was retired in 1983?? What is the value of such a piece? The certificate of authenticity is in mint condition, as is the piece, and the number on the piece is 69 and the number on the sticker on the underside is 1059. I recently saw four Henson's listed in the Blue Ridge Collectible Exchange. The prices ranged from $49 to $55.
Subject: Gnomes My wife and I have a MR. LINCOLN and THOMAS JEFFERSON GNOME. As you know these are the largest ones he has done and we have no where to display them. Do you know what the book price on those are now? Lincoln and Jefferson are currently listed in the Blue Ridge Collectible Exchange for $600 - $675 each. |
